Description
Gallocatechin has a wide range of biological activities, such as anti-cell proliferation (anti-cancer), antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-cardiovascular diseases and other activities; It also has the function of preventing ultraviolet radiation, losing weight, preventing diabetes, relieving Parkinson's disease and so on. Such as the effect of gallocatechin on the absorption of glucose by adipocytes under the condition of high concentration of glucose, using 3T3-L1 preadipocyte differentiation model, the of gallocatechin on the absorption of glucose in adipocytes and the effect of gallocatechin on the differentiation of 3T3-L1 preadipocytes were determined. The results showed that galatechin promoted insulin-stimulated glucose uptake in adipocytes under high glucose concentration (30mmol/L) and accelerated differentiation of 3t3-l1 preadipocytes. Gallocatechin can increase glucose absorption and promote differentiation of 3T3-L1 preadipocytes, suggesting that gallocatechin can effectively change blood glucose concentration and improve insulin resistance.
