Description
Pterostilbene is an antifungal active ingredient in blood dried products, which belongs to polyhydroxystilbene compounds and is a homolog of resveratrol. Its pharmacological action is partly similar to that of resveratrol, but it also has strong antifungal activity (its antifungal activity is five times that of resveratrol).
